How-to: Monitoring synchronization for Central Master Data Management (CMDM)

Introduction

This document describes the steps to monitoring the synchronization between Exact Globe Next and Exact Synergy Enterprise (ESE) for Central Master Data Management (CMDM). The status of the synchronization can be monitored via ESE and Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS).

Pre-requisites

For more information on the pre-requisites, see the Pre-requisites section in Getting started with Central Master Data Management (CMDM).

Monitoring synchronization via ESE

1. Go to Modules ? System ? Reports ? Exact Lightweight Integration Server ? Monitor.
2. The following page will be displayed:



3. Define the search criteria, and then click Refresh.
4. The status of the synchronization will then be displayed in the results section as follows:

Monitoring synchronization via ELIS

1. In the Exact Lightweight Integration Server Management Console screen, click Integration status under Monitoring on the left panel.
2. The following screen will be displayed:



3. Define the following fields:           
• Date and time - Type or select the date range to display the integration statuses between the defined start and end dates.
• Configuration - Select the add-on that was installed in ELIS.
• Tenant - Select the tenant of the data to be displayed.
• Source - Select the source endpoint of the data to be displayed.
  Note: This field is available only for product updates 258 and above. For product updates 257 and below, this field is displayed as Client.
• Client - Select the client endpoint of the data to be displayed.
• Status - Select the status of the synchronization process. You can select Received, Pending, Processing, Successful, Failed, Echo, Skipped, or Retrying.
• Entity - Type the entity. The entity must match the whole word and it is not case-sensitive.
4. Once the search criteria have been defined, click Refresh.
5. The status of the synchronization will then be displayed as follows:
